• Why did you take French courses?
  My husband and myself have decided to spend our retirement in France and Australia. I really want to improve my French so that I can live my experience to the full.
   
• Why did you decide to live in Paris ?
  Paris offers a completely different way of living from Australia. It is at the crossroads of Europe. We are just few hours far from big European cities thanks to motorways and trains. We can travel easily in France and Europe.
   
• Why did you choose to learn French at the Institut privé Campus Langues ?
  The school is near my home. The courses are very good value and are not expensive at all.
   
• What do you think of our French courses, the school ?
  I chose to take the Discovery Program : 2 hours of French courses per day. Our teacher combines all the aspects of the language in only 2 hours : grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, oral conversation… Our courses are really complete.
  I really feel confident to speak in class. The atmosphere in the class is really nice and the students take part in the conversations. The teacher is really patient and explains everything clearly with a gesture or simple expressions.
   
• Which advice would you give to our future students that need to learn French quickly ?
  Taking French courses is essential. You can also learn quicker ! Try to enjoy your stay in France to the full ! Speak as much as you can in French : with your neighbours, the salesmen in big stores... Ask your way in the street. Grap every opportunity to improve your French !
  Revise also your notes in French after each class. Each lesson is important. Do not miss any classes !
   
• Which Paris district do you like ?
  It is quite hard to answer this question. Paris is an extraordinary and incomparable city ! I particularly love Montmartre, the Sacré Coeur, the area of les Champs-Elysées, Eiffel Tower and also Seine river… not to forget the wonderful bridges. Churches in Paris are really interesting to see along with the Parisian avenues with the incredible buildings and rows of trees.
   
• Where do you like to go out ?
  You can visit lots of museums and galleries that have super collections of art. There are lots of public events that you can attend to like the day of the music and the Bastille day dances. These were unforgettable events. After visiting a museum, it is a great pleasure to enjoy a cup of coffee at a terrace. Once, we had dinner in front of the Opera. The view was incredible : we could watch the crowd passing by and the building . There are so many things to do in Paris !
   
• What have you learnt from this experience ?
  Each step that you take in Paris is a step in history ! I am bewildered by the buildings, the bridges, the churches, the river and the atmosphere of the city. Learning French enables me to understand the French culture better. In the long-term, I would like to be able to read books in French and watch political debates on TV. The French courses in the Institut Privé Campus Langues allow me to read in French and to understand the history of Paris.
