Au Pair : how to register ?

The following documents are needed for registration in the Au Pair French Program :

• Au-Pair contract or placement agreement
• your original passport + photocopy
• 2 pictures
• copy of your visa and/or your "titre de séjour" (For NON-EUROPEAN citizens only)
• your level in French : test in the school or online*
• full payment for your classes (French courses and registration fees)

*In order to simplify enrollment procedures, please take our French online test.

The school will deliver you a registration certificate that needs to be presented to the Prefecture to obtain a "titre de séjour".

For NON-EUROPEAN citizens only :
Do you need a French pre-registration letter?
Before leaving for France, check for the visa regulations set by the French Consulate in your respective country. For more information, you may also consult the official website of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs at : www.diplomatie.fr

To obtain an Au-Pair visa, you need to present to the French Ambassy of your respective country a pre-registration letter for 10 hours of French classes per week for a total period of one year.

How to get your pre-registration letter ? :

• On line :
  • inform about your approximative date of arrival,
  • complete the preregistration form
  • procede to payment (90 €)
    

• OR

• By fax, by postmail, by email or directly at the school, please give us :
  • the pre-registration form completed
  • a copy of your passport
  • the payment of the pre-registration fees (90 €)

You will get your certificate of pre-registration within 2 or 3 weeks.

After your arrival in Paris and your definite registration, you will be delivered your registration certificate.
